Self-balancing vehicle with at least three wheels which are supported on the ground, at least two of which are arranged on either side of the centre of gravity, in relation to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, and at least one of which is steerable, and at least part of the vehicle can tilt about the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, and a sensor is coupled to a steering member for steering the at least one steerable wheel, in order to measure the level and/or direction of the load, in order to cause and/or maintain a change in direction of the steerable wheel while travelling and/or the magnitude and/or direction of a change in direction of the steerable wheel while travelling, and an energized tilting element is provided, for the purpose of tilting the said vehicle part about the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, which tilting element is coupled to the sensor, in order to cause tilting according to what the sensor records.
