A corrosion protection prod. consisting of a fluorocarbon plastic partic. PTFE reinforced by a metallic mesh sandwiched in it and sintered has the mesh (1) consisting of links (4) of very high deformability made of intertwined metallic (3) strands and the diagonals of the links, forming the axes of deformation, are arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis of the prod. which is pref. a tube. The mesh is pref. obtained by direct braiding onto the tubular form of fluoropolymer into which it is incorporated. The angle of the strands w.r.t. the axis of the tube is 45-89 deg . Each end of the tube can be opened to form a bellmouth (7) transversal to the tube axis and the bellmouth (7) allows the making of a sealed joint between two prods. with the aid of flanges (6',6).
