Armouring made up of two panels (1, 2) in which one of the ends of each section (3, 4) encloses the thickness of the door (5) and terminates in a projection (6, 7) to prevent forced entry; by sliding one panel over the other, it is possible to adjust the reinforcing (armouring) panels (1, 2) to the width of the door (5); one panel is the main panel (1), one end (3) of which encloses the edge of the door (5) on the lock side (8); on this side, this panel (1) receives the lock (8), and the other end (9) of this panel (1) is partly covered by the other, complementary, reinforcing panel (2), the other end (4) of which encloses the edge of the door (5) on the pivot (28, 27, 29) side, this complementary panel (2) receives the pivots (27, 29) which make up the hinges (10) which are reversible by engaging with other pivots of the doorframe, of a section behind the strike (12) comprising, on the external side of the door (5), a projection (13) to prevent forced entry, of a section acting as a pivoting bar (14) comprising, on the external side of the door (5), a projection (15) to prevent forced entry, the said section (14) receives the complementary pivots (27, 29) which form the hinges (10).
