<p>A plug-type connector for wiring backplanes having a blade connector and spring clip, wherein the individual contact springs are surrounded by electrically conductive shieldings that are connected to shield contactings applied in the intermediate grid both at the component side as well as at the backplane side is provided. The shield contactings are charged with an appropriate potential. For simple manufacture of a plurality of mini-coax transitions with good RF and HF properties, the free ends of the contact blades are surrounded by shielding sleeves in the blade connector. Shielding contactings that have a circular crossection are applied between the shielding sleeves. The shielding contactings contact the shielding sleeves with their outside surfaces and resiliently clasp the shielding blades in their inside. The contact springs as well as the contact guides connected thereto are surrounded within the spring clip by tubular outer conductors. The free ends of the outer conductors at the backplane side are fashioned as spring collars that contact with the inside surfaces of the shielding sleeves of the blade connector. The free ends of the inner conductors are fashioned as contact springs with a circular crossection for embracing the contact blades.</p> |
