In a manually operated supporting and pressing device for objects operation at the ceiling surface it is known to have a proper stability, steerability of the working object and compacted parts. In this invention it is solved by application means for shortening of action arm of forces making supporting and pressing in relation to a contact place of a working part of the working object and the machined surface as well as more efficient means for steerability. Preferably the supporting and pressing device being sufficiently compacted, stable and steerable comprises: a resilient straight longitudinal body member being bent and able for elastic pressing after an initial compression and supporting by located at one end of an articulated joint, a slider of an articulated blocking joint being sufficiently contiguous in relation to a working part of the working object. A fastener for working objects mount being located on a part of said articulated blocking joint. The articulated blocking joint is making possible of control arm angle inclination changes and blockade its position in relation to the working object. The control arm is secured to the slider and equipped with means for remote control powered objects switch on/off as well as means for remote control of the arm angle inclination. The resilient supporting and pressing body member may be placed directly on the ground or articulate joined with a base. The base may have adjustable height.
