The headlight casing (19) side-wall has projecting side-plates (5) whose adjacent faces are horizontal and parallel where they grip a horizontal tab (6) on the side-wall of the smaller lamp (1), but diverge in a forward direction, guiding the tab during insertion (10). A vertical screw (7), passing through clearance slots in the upper plate and tab, is retained by a U-shaped spring-steel clip enclosing the lower plate's slot; when this screw is tightened, the tab is securely clamped. To facilitate adjustment, the tab slot (9) and those in the support plates (5) are differently oriented. The lamp case (15), with integral reflector (20), is closed by a front-glass (25), fitting flush with that (24) of the headlight (2) and with the coachwork (4).
