The plastics bag support comprises two inclined frames (23,24) which hold the handles (A) of the bag (S) and keep the bag open. The mountings are folded wire trapezoidal hoops and their upper sides (21,22) have, at their ends, bends (25) connecting with corresponding large sides (26,27). These bends prevent the bag handles from disengaging from the hoops. A connecting part (29) between the two hoops is obtained by folding in a single piece with the hoops. This part joins the lower end of one of the large sides of one hoop to that of a large side of the other hoop in a diagonal direction.
