The object of the invention is to create a pressurised water discharge pipe for the direct, intensive cooling pipe of rolled goods under pressure having an improved operation that reduces the influence of steam and enlarges the field of application of the parallel flow cooling pipe. For that purpose, a bent pipe is set on the cooling water outlet of the storage chamber (2) and connected to a bifurcated pipe (5) whose channels (5') open from above on both sides of the discharge and vapour sealing chamber (1), seen in the flow direction, and continue within the chamber (1) around the guiding funnel (B) up to the end point of the length (A). The water that flows out of the channels (5') of the bifurcated pipe (5) hits walls (6) inclined at an angle alpha from 20 to 50 DEG , which co-operate with the funnel walls (8), and is collected again in a collecting shaft (7).
