The vertical transparent vessel in which the liquid contents may be mixed or stirred in a visibly interesting manner, has a sealed, motor-driven impeller within a housing below the vessel. The liquid containing vessel (3) is connected to a housing (2) containing an electric motor (56), whose drive shaft (8) rotates an impeller (6). The contained liquid is induced to spirally rotate to provide visual interest.
