<p>A fire extinguisher of throw-down or throw-in type has a fire extinguishing agent jetting portion which is rotatable. Even when a fire extinguisher body falls sideways, a fire extinguishing agent is scattered upward by a nozzle portion and a weight portion which is provided to face the nozzle portion and cause the nozzle portion to face upward. It has been conventional in fire figthing against a forest fire and so on to scatter a fire extinguishing agent from the sky. This method alone has been insufficient in fire extinguishing of undergrowth. When the fire extinguisher having the above construction is used at the same time in fire figthting, it is useful in fire extinguishing of undergrowth to remove the possibility refiring.</p> |
