Rail-mounted bogie arrangement for sliding and revolving doors

The wheeled-bogie arrangement for e.g. roller door, has the main section of moulded plastic and with a tyre shaped to fit onto the rail. A slim metal wheel (25) is bonded to one side of the plastic wheel and has a smaller diameter than the plastic wheel. If the plastic wheel breaks or wears the weight of the vehicle is supported by the metal wheel. The metal wheel has its rim normally out of contact with the rail. A safety control monitors the electric contact between the safety wheel and the metal rail. The two wheels share common wheel bearings. The electric contact to the safety wheel is either via a cable shoe or via a conducting axle.
