The dustbin emptying device has a receiving device (12) on the lifting and tipping device of the dustcart, on which several dogs (14) project upwards. Between them there are recesses (15) to receive the U-profile rests built onto the dustbins along a side wall or at the aperture edge. The dogs have a lower part (16) fixed to the receiving device, and an upper part (44) which can move on the lower part, enabling the upper part to move towards or away from the dustbin on the lower part. Beyond a certain position, no more movement is possible.
