The picture frame comprises a base frame (1) and a decorative frame with the base frame as an integral, bent member with a single coupler. The decorative frame consists of individual profiles each insertable onto the base frame, transverse to the frame plane. On the base frame inside are grooves (11,12) located on its lower part (17), open in the direction away from the profile longitudinal edges, with a support strap (13) above the grooves. The decorative frame profiles (2) have bent portions (22,23) at their longitudinal edges. The front side bent portion inserts a decorative strip (22) onto the picture face (4), while the rear portion is clamped at the lower edge (10) of the base frame.
