Using this device, a cable change can be carried out in a time-optimised manner in the case of cable processing machines which have a stationary gripper (5) which can pivot, and processing stations (18, 19, 20) arranged in the pivoting zone of the gripper (5). To this end, two belt drives (22, 23) are provided which are arranged at an acute angle with respect to one another in their cable transportation direction and are symmetrical with respect to a main transporation axis (24). Displaceable cable sequencers (30) are provided between the strand drives (22.1, 22.2 and 23.1, 23.2 respectively) of the belt drives (22, 23). A V-shaped cable guiding element (31) is connected by means of in each case one limb (31.1, 31.2) to the cable outlet side of the belt drives (22, 23) and cable sequencers (30), the intersection of the limbs (31.1., 31.2) lying on the main transportation axis (24). In the event of a cable change, before one cable is pulled back through one limb, the other cable is pushed forward to the intersection point by the other limb. <IMAGE> |
