On-the-ground device for connecting an external electricity source (25) to an aircraft (1) in order to temporarily replace its on-board generators (2). During the period of overlap of two contactors used in the aircraft to effect this transfer, an impedance, preferably a resistance (R) much greater than the internal impedance of the external source (25), is placed in series with the external line (Dn). Having completed the switch over to the external source, the measurement (20) of the abrupt drop in the external voltage triggers the closure of a static contactor (T1, T2) which short-circuits the resistance (R). ……
