Triarylmethanes of formula (I), in which: m is 1-100; L1 and L2 represent C2C4 alkylene; R3 represents hydrogen or optionally substituted C1-C4 alkyl; R4, R5, R6 and R7 represent hydrogen, optionally substituted C1-C4 alkyl or optionally substituted phenyl; Q represents an aryl group; and AnO represents an anion. Also disclosed are the use of these dyes for dyeing or printing polymer material.
