4-(Thiophene-2-carbonyl)-oxypyrrolidine-2-carboxylic acid of formula (I) and the salts thereof with pharmaceutically acceptable acids or bases, a process for the preparation thereof and the use thereof for the preparation of a medicament having anti-inflammatory and antidystrophic activities are disclosed.
