A method of wagering on a scheduled predetermined number of races at a racetrack where the racing entities are typically horses or dogs, prior to the beginning of the scheduled races. Wagerers are provided cards available in the categories WIN alone (11), PLACE alone (21), SHOW alone (23) and/or WIN, PLACE and SHOW (25). Each card has an array of rows (15) of small circles (17) for identifying the selection of the entities in each race, each row corresponding to a race. A wagerer fills in a circle in each row to identify the entity selected in each race. Each card also has a bar code (19) for identifying the category selected. There is a payoff independently of the purse wagered to wagerers whose total number of selections (66) is equal to the total of the numbers of the winning entities.
