<p>The present invention relates to a peptide capable of inducing an immune response against the Zona Pellucida protein ZP3, said peptide having an amino acid sequence of 8-50 amino acid residues and comprising at least the amino acid sequence PLWLLQ or analogues thereof. More specifically, the peptides according to the invention comprise at least the amino acid sequence QPLWLLQG. Further embodiments of the invention relate to antibodies raised against the peptides according to the invention, contraceptive vaccines comprising said peptides or said antibodies, as well as a test kit for the detection of autoimmune antibodies against ZP3 in a test sample.</p> |
