Multi=sectioned, cooled piston for IC engine

The cooled piston comprises a top section with formed in hubs onto which the gudgeon pin and connecting rod mount. A circular wall section has its first end covering the base of the piston top, and its second end open for mounting at least one piston ring groove. The individual circular wall sections (11, 12) are introduced in the lower end (18) of the open wall (5), into a common slot (16) lying in a plane vertical to the piston axis. They are located in this slot, at the radially outer surface.
