Ring spindle with synthetic bearing support tube

A spindle for a spinning or twisting machine has a metallic housing (3) which is attached to the spindle rail (4). It contains a spindle shaft (2) which is supported in a synthetic centralising tube (15) by a footstep bearing (13) at one end and a top bearing (13) at the other. The centralising tube (15) is held in the housing between its ends while its bottom end can move radially. The top bearing sleeve (29) does not contact the spindle housing (3) and the synthetic centralising tube (15) is reinforced in the region of the top bearing sleeve (29).
