Several symmetrically-situated bolts inside the bar (20) secure it in place. The end-piece (21) welded to it has a flange (23) extending radially inwards, whose ID is only greater by a marginal amount than the outer circle in which the bolts (40) are contained. This flange is clamped against the nodal component (10) by an inner flange ring (30). The nodal component is a cylindrical tube, on which are radial ribs (15) running in the axial direction and to which bracing struts are secured. The component ends form transverse mounting faces (11) for the bars, and contain parallel tapped holes (12) for the bolts. The flange ring turns freely in the bar and is not centred in the radial direction, having smooth bores for the bolts and bearing against the end-piece flange outside the bolts. To accommodate the spanner two symmetrically-situated circular openings (25) are provided, level in the axial direction with the bolt heads. The spanner works in a plane at right angles to the bar axis.
