Drive wedge groove for transmission

The groove (30) has first and second side walls (60,70) with level inner surfaces (61,71), and an end wall (80) with a three-part curvilinear surface (81). The side walls, which may be at a relative distance and parallel to each other, are connected to the end wall, and extend mainly at an angle or transverse to it. The ratio between the radius of the first section (85) of the end wall, and the radius of the third section (87) may be between 0,70:1,0 and 1,40:1,0, approx. 1:1. The second part (86) of the end wall can contact and localize a drive wedge, when this is accommodated in the groove. The groove can consist of a powderised metal, esp. sintered metal.
