This invention relates to a fast-acting electrically controlled flow control valve. This valve incorporates a rotary solenoid to which are attached several lugs to its armature, which drive a guided flapper between two opposing conduits. The valve is easily converted from a normally open valve to a normally closed valve by simply inverting the flapper, and visa-versa. The result is a vary fast-acting versatile valve with little flow resistance and little internal dead space.
