<p>A technical issue to be solved by the invention is to provide rimless spectacles, in which right and left lenses can be mechanically simply connected to each other and held in a stable three-point support condition by simple metal parts and boring errors with respect to securing holes formed in the lenses can be readily corrected and removed, and, if possible, which can be worn by a person having a small distance betweem right and left eyes and a face of a large width, and are suitable for adaptation of P. D (pupil distance). As a mesure for solving the issue, the invention has a feature of employing a metallic bridge, which includes at right and left ends thereof parallel edge engaging portions capable of coming into line contact with the inner edges of lenses and inner insertion portions capable of being inserted into bridge securing holes formed near the inner edges of the lenses, and bracket temples having parallel edge engaging portions capable of coming into line contact with the outer edges of the lenses and outer insertion portions capable of being inserted into temple securing holes formed near the outer edges of the lenses, and holding and connecting a pair of right and left lenses to each other side by side by means of a three-point support mechanism.</p> |
