A sun protection device (10) for application to the lips of the user's lips (15), the device (10) comprising a membrane (11) which is resistant to the passage of ultra-violet rays and which includes an adhesive (12) on one side for attachment to the lips (15). The device (10) may also be designed to fit other sun sensitive parts of the body.
