The invention provides compounds according to formula (I), in which: Ha = I or Br, X = CH2 or C = O, R<1> = C1-4 alkyl, R<2> = -NHSO2R<3>; -NHCOR<3>; or -NHCONHR<3>, where R<3> = -CF3, C1-3 alkyl, 4-R<4>C6H4-; where R<4> = C1-4 alkoxy-; hydroxy-; fluoro-; or nitro-; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The compounds may particularly be used in the treatment of T3 regulated gene disorders and diseases.
