There is disclosed an asphalt extracting apparatus of the Soxhlet type in which a solvent (A) evaporated from a flask (1) is condensed by a cooling device (4) and then dropped into the inside of a filter device (3) such that asphalt in an asphalt mixture (C) inside the filter device (3) is extracted through the filter device (3). With the flask (1) and the filter device (3) covered with a thermally insulating case (51), the flask (1) and the filter device (3) are heated and thermally insulated by the heat of a gas burner (2). To lower the boiling point of the solvent (A) in the flask (1), each of the flask (1), the filter device (3) and the cooling device (4) is decompressed by a decompression device (6). <IMAGE> |
