<p>A transfer press capable of reducing the overall length of a press line and the weight thereof, and securing the operation efficiency and safety by carrying out the outer arrangement of an idle nest. In order to attain these characteristics, an upright (3) set up between and used in common with adjacent press units (P1, P2), positioning means (4A, 2A) for adjacent crowns (4, 4) and adjacent beds (2, 2) and one tie rod (7) inserted between the crowns (4, 4), between the beds (2, 2) and through the upright (3) are provided, and the crowns (4, 4) and beds (2, 2) are combined with each other by the tie rod (7) through the upright (3).</p> |
