<p>Machine (A) comprising a frame (1) with a first set of wheels (2) for running on a road and a second set of wheels (3) for running on a railway track (5) attached thereto, wherein the axles of the wheels (2) for running on a road are orthogonal to the axles of the wheels (3) for running on a railway track. The second set of wheels are connected to a device for displacing them between a position above the bearing plane of the set of road wheels (2) and a position below said bearing plane for engagement of the second set of wheels (3) with the railway track (5). The frame (1) supports a tool-carrying platen (6), including for instance a lifting platform pivotally mounted above the frame (1) and connected to said frame by means provided for automatically adjusting the platen (6) so as to maintain its horizontal position irrespective of the slope of the road or railway track.</p> |
