<p>This invention relates to an ink composition comprising synthetic pigment particles, a carrier and a binder, the synthetic pigment particles having a particle size from 0.02 to 0.20 microns, with at least 90 percent of said particles having diameters less than 0.1 micron. The invention also relates to a method of printing images onto a substrate. The method comprises ink jet printing onto the substrate the ink composition of the present invention and subsequently subjecting the substrate to a temperature of at least 260 °C (500 °F).</p> |
