Linear bearings on which cylinders with lubricant are mounted

The linear bearing consists of a guide rail of rectangular cross-section on which a slide can move to-and-fro. Small containers with lubricant are mounted at both ends of the slide. The containers are in the form of a cylinder (4) inside which a piston plate (8) is mounted which is acted on by a pressure medium, which is fed to a space (10) in the cylinder. The piston plate pushes the lubricant through a porous or perforated plate (7) at the end of the cylinder onto the slide.
