<p>The small finishing installation (100) for continuous strips of textile fabric includes a steam-filled housing (2) into which feed rolls (5) can be introduced at each end. Located in the housing are sets of fabric-handling equipment disposed symmetrically with respect to the vertical plane (40) running across the middle of the housing (2). Disposed in this vertical plane (40) is a squeezer unit (37) from which the strip of fabric can pass, against each feed roll (5), through a treatment bath (30) and then over an array (20) of guide rollers disposed above an open tank (26). The continuous strip of fabric (10) can be wound back and forth between the feed rolls (5), thus making it possible to carry out a variety of different treatments.</p> |
