Winding drive for electrical or pneumatic supply line drum

The drive displays the drum (1) for taking up or paying out the electrical or pneumatic supply line (4), the tension of the latter held constant by measuring the angle of the supply line between the drum and a fixed connection point (5). The drive velocity of the drum is controlled during passage of the connection point in dependence on the measured angle. Preferably, the measured angle is combined with the height of the measuring device (7) from the surface (3) receiving the supply line, to calculate the momentary length of the line, for controlling the rotation of the drum.
