Magnetic inductive flowmeter which includes coil system for producing alternating magnetic field

The excitation current flows in the coils producing the magnetic field. A capacitor is connected in parallel to the coils producing the magnetic field. So that a LC resonant circuit results with a resonance frequency of between three and eight kHz. The magnetic field conducting circuit consists of low loss ferromagnetic material pref. ferrites. The coil current producing the magnetic field, is so regulated, that the time curve of the current is sinusoidal and single-frequency, and the alternating frequency amounts of 3-8 kHZ.
