Compact bin distribution device suitable for pressure injection moulding machines

A motor-driven conveyor (5) has a distribution guide (7) at the end under programmable control (24), which charges selected bins (12, 13, 14). The guide is in the form of a chute (10), slewed by a motor (17), driving its pivotal axis (16) via a belt (18). A sensor (23) mounted close to the axis (16) detects the angular position of the chute. A radially notched cam (22) is fixed to the pivotal axis (16). The notches (25, 26, 27) are determined in number and location by the required angular positions of the chute. Switch cam followers (28, 29) of the sensor unit (23) register the position. Also claimed is the method of use.
