The invention relates to oligomers consisting completely or partially of 1,5anhydrohexitol nucleoside analogues represented by general formula (I), wherein B is a heterocyclic ring which is derived from a pyrimidine or purine base, such as cytosine, 5-methylcytosine, uracil and thymine, or deaza derivatives thereof, or adenine, guanine, 2,6-diaminopurine, hypoxanthine and xanthine, or deaza derivatives thereof.
