PURPOSE:To make it possible to control independently two moving elements by providing with a group of position sensing elements to detect separately magnetic poles of field magnets of the first moving element and the second moving element respectively. CONSTITUTION:A moving magnet type linear DC brushless motor 1 having two needles 10 & 11 is equipped with a long plate-like stator base 2 consisting of a magnetic substance forming a stator yoke, and a group of armature coils 4 are so placed next to each other tightly on the stator base 2 that they don't overlap to form a stator armature 7. The first and the second groups of position sensing elements 8 & 9 are mounted on the both sides of a group of armature coils 4 of the stator base. Two moving elements 10 & 11 slip out of their positions in the width direction, so that a group of position sensing elements 8 detect a position if the needle 10 only and a group of position sensing elements 9 detect a position of the moving element 11 only. Accordingly, each moving element controlled separately based on these signals. |
