A device of the present invention includes: a means for photograghing an anterior eye segment of a subject; a first display means for displaying an image of the anterior eye segment; means for processing the displayed image to detect each position of a pupil and a contact lens; a calculating means for obtaining the relationship of relative positions between them by calculating; and a second display means for displaying the obtained relationship of the relative positions. If the device is used for inspcting a condition for putting on of the contact lens, in particular, it is possible to measure the relationship of the relative positions between the contact lens at the time of being put on and the pupil. <MATH>
