PURPOSE:To produce a steel material uniformly dispersing adding element with simple equipment by keeping upper space of pouring basin part under inert gas atmosphere having more than the air pressure and adding easy-oxidized metal or alloy into the pouring basin part. CONSTITUTION:Additive 9 of element or these alloy, etc., which is easily vaporized and easily oxidized, such as aluminum, calcium, is added into the upper space of the pouring basin part 2 kept to the inert gas atmosphere having more than the air pressure from a charging tube 10 opened in a casing 6. The added additive 9 is melted in molten metal in the pouring basin part 2 and diffused. By this method, adding efficiency of the easy-oxidized element is improved and aluminum-killed steel or the steel material containing a large quantity of aluminum, calcium, etc., can be cast. |
