The data transmission system is used between a master station and at least one slave station, all stations interconnected via a n-bit parallel data bus and a clock line. The master station delivers a control byte (ST1) to the bus, indicating the write request, identifying the format and providing the address of the slave station. Respective clock signals are used for the release of the control byte, the application an address byte (A1) to the bus, the release of the control byte, the application of data bytes (D1,D2) corresponding to the specified format and the release of the data bytes. A similar procedure is used for a read request. Pref. a check byte (SI1) is incorporated. |
