A blank is provided for the construction of folded boxes which are stackable one on top of another. The blank is made of foldable sheet material having pre-scored fold lines which separate a base panel (2), a pair of wedge-shaped side panels (5, 5'), a pair of side flaps (7, 7'), a pair of end panels (9, 9') and a pair of end flaps (11, 11'). The blank is folded to produce a box which has a wedge-shaped configuration with a dimension at one end greater than that at the other, so as to accommodate a typical shirt without crushing the collar. The boxes are stackable with each alternate box rotated through 180 DEG relative to the two immediately adjacent boxes in the stack. Each blank incorporates a tab and a slot which lock together the boxes in the stack. <IMAGE> |
