PURPOSE:To shorten the block pull-in time by establishing firmly a block synchronization by using a syndrome of a data of plural sequences. CONSTITUTION:With regard to plural sequences, block initial phases are shifted, respectively, a syndrome is calculated from the same phase of each sequence, and with regard to plural data strings the same in block initial phase, a syndrome is calculated from the respective different phases, by which a block synchronization is established firmly. That is, an error correcting code is an object, and when no error exists on the reception side (the syndrome='0'), it is regarded as a synchronized state, and when an error exists (the syndrome='1'), a it is regarded as an asynchronous state. On the reception side a phase of a frame pulse is shifted by one bit each, and when a synchronization is taken in one sequence (the syndrome='0'), the synchronization of all the sequences is attained by supplying a prescribed frame pulse to other sequence, based on said sequence as a reference. In such a way, the block pull-in time is shortened. |
