PURPOSE:To keep generating efficiency and stiffness high, make a cell low in loss in conductor, and also make it light in weight. CONSTITUTION:An air electrode 23 concurrently acting as a support tube is formed into a cylindrical shape which is eccentrically thickened in the circumferential direction, its stiffness is given by its thickened section, and the provision of an interconnector 24 over the outer circumference of the most thickened section 23a permits loss in conductor to be reduced. Besides, the formation of its thinned section including the most thinned section 23b permits the cell to be made light in weight, and the formation of its solid electrolyte layer 25 over the outer circumference of the thinned section and its fuel cell at the outside of the aforesaid electrolyte layer permits generating efficiency to be increased. |
