The method consists in the application of an abrasion-and-tear-resistant resin mantle (2) that reaches the curing point upon contact with the water. The mantle (2) is applied, over the damage, around the piping by means of a flexible sleeve (1) that serves as a containment cast, and by means of a hydraulic tool (13) specifically conceived for the repair operation. $$
