PURPOSE:To provide a damper fit to impart specified resistance to the rotation of a rotating member such as the pedal arm of a pedal type parking brake, a large-sized horizontal pivoted window, and the reclining seat of an automobile or the like. CONSTITUTION:A damper 1 is provided with a rotor 4 provided with a fitting part 3 in order to be fitted rotatably, a rotor 7 provided in the relatively rotatable state to the rotor 4 while forming a clearance for storing a viscous body 5 between the rotors 4, 7, and a rotation transmission means 8 for transmitting the rotating quantity of the rotor 4 around the fitting part 3 non-linearly to the rotor 4 and changing resistance to the rotation of the rotor 4 around the fitting part 3 caused by the viscous resistance of the viscous body 5 generated by the relative rotation of the rotors 4, 7 in association with the rotation of the rotor 4 around the fitting part 3. |
