MAGNETRON DRIVING POWER SUPPLY

PURPOSE:To realize a stable operation of a magnetron, and a high reliability of magnetron driving power supply. CONSTITUTION:A magnetron driving power supply 1 is composed of a rectifier 2; semiconductor switching elements 3 and 4; a transformer 5 having a resonant circuit; a rectifier 6; and driving circuits 8 and 9 to drive the semiconductor switching elements 3 and 4; and it receives the power supply from an AC power source 7, and energizes a magnetron 10. The transformer 5 having a resonant circuit exercises the function to reduce the switching loss of the semiconductor switching elements 3 and 4, and a booster transformer boosts the high-frequency AC more than 30kHz and less than 60kHz.
