PURPOSE:To obtain a bond magnet principally comprising a rare earth metal Nd, iron Fe, and boron B in which the local battery action is weakened even if an Ni-W alloy is added thereto. CONSTITUTION:Any one of Cr, Mo, Zn or Al is added in addition to an Ni-W alloy. Since the electrode potential of an Ni-W alloy-M based alloy (M represents any one of Cr, Mo, Zn or Al) approaches the electrode potential of an Nd-Fe-B alloy to decrease the potential difference, the local battery action is weakened in a bond magnet obtained by mixing Nd-Fe-B powder and Ni-W-M alloy powder and thereby a corrosion resistant bond magnet is obtained. |
