PURPOSE:To provide an airbag door structure and manufacture thereof while an airbag door is formed integrally with a car room side member, thereby the air bag door is not formed separately from the car room side member, accordingly its assembly work is no more required so that its appearance may become beautiful without the border line of the airbag door becoming inconspicuous superficially. CONSTITUTION:In a car room side member in which a synthetic resin foaming layer 50 is integrally formed on the back side of a cuticle material 20, the cuticle material is composed of a cuticle upper layer 21 consisting of a non- foaming soft synthetic resin and a cuticle lower layer 22 consisting of a foaming synthetic resin which is compatible with the cuticle upper layer. In the cuticle upper layer 21, bent parts 23, 24 bent facing the back side and the rift part 25 on their tips are formed in the position by which the cleavage line of an airbag door is prescribed and the cuticle lower layer 22 is lined and formed integrally with the entire back surface including the bent part of the cuticle upper layer and the rift part. |
