<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger for an air conditioner which reduces a dead angle flow area behind a heat exchanger tube by mixing disturbed air streams flowing along a flat fin. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger comprises a plurality of flat fins 1 arranged parallel at a specified interval, and a plurality of heat transfer pipes 2 which are inserted into the flat fins at the right angle to the flat fins to let a fluid flow therein. Slit shaped end cut erected parts 11a-14b are formed at a specified interval in the flat fins to disturb air streams flowing over the surface and the rear of the flat fins on the perimeter of the heat exchanger tubes, while a louver-shaped end-cut erected part 20 is formed in the flat fins at the central part of the group of the slit-shaped end-cut erected parts to receive and mix the air streams being disturbed by the group of slit-shaped end-cut erected parts.</p> |
